KappAloy30™ Tin-Zinc spray wire meets or exceeds coating specifications for many applications at a lower cost than #2 Babbitt or KappAloy20™ spray wires. Talk to our tech support representative to determine if KappAloy30™ is a viable option for your application specs.
Applications
KappAloy30™ is used extensively in spray wire form to coat the ends of capacitors and other electronic parts to provide a hermetic seal, EMF/EMI protection, and corrosion resistance. Like Tin surfaces, the coatings are easily solderable. As with Zinc, the coating has substantial oxidation resistance.
